The VEIC-2615RL series is an Intel® Atom® rail transit vehicle computing platform that complies with EN50155 and EN45545 specifications, suitable for vehicle video applications such as network video recording (NVR) and video analysis.

Product Introduction
The VEIC-2615RL series is an Intel® Atom® rail transit vehicle computing platform that complies with EN50155 and EN45545 specifications, suitable for vehicle video applications such as network video recording (NVR) and video analysis.
The VEIC-2615RL has a thermal design specifically designed for fanless operation in accordance with EN50155 OT4 level, the CPU can run at full load in an environment of -40℃ to 70℃, and supports up to 50W PoE+ power supply. To overcome the challenging railway environment, the VEIC-2615RL is equipped with an isolated 43V to 160V wide-range DC input design and a built-in supercapacitor-based uninterruptible backup power module to provide the system with more than 30 seconds of operation time in the event of voltage fluctuations or power outages. If the power outage time exceeds the endurance of the backup power module, its internal microcontroller (MCU) will trigger a soft shutdown before the supercapacitor energy storage is exhausted, thereby protecting hardware and data to reduce maintenance expenses.
The VEIC-2615RL uses the Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom® x6425E quad-core processor, which provides 1.8 times the CPU performance compared to Intel’s previous generation Apollo Lake Atom. The VEIC-2615RL series offers 4 PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet ports, which can provide a total of 50W of power for IP camera connections. VEIC-2615RL provides 1 built-in M.2 2280 SATA SSD for system installation, and 1 front panel pluggable 2.5″ HDD tray for installing SATA hard disk/SSD with a thickness of up to 15mm, providing up to 5TB of storage capacity. In terms of internal expansion, VEIC-2615RL provides 2 mini-PCIe slots for installing WiFi, GNSS and CAN modules. In addition, it provides 1 M.2 3042/ 3052 B key slot for installing 4G/ 5G mobile broadband module.
VEIC-2615RL is equipped with Intel® Atom® Quad-Core x6425E processor, which can operate without fan in a wide temperature range of -40℃ to 70℃, and is equipped with M12 PoE+ connectivity, up to 5TB of data storage capacity, 2500W-second supercapacitor-based uninterruptible backup power module, 43V to 160V wide-range DC input, and compliance with EN50155 and EN45545 specifications make it an ideal rugged mobile in-vehicle computing platform for in-vehicle video applications.
